The EDC (Endoscopic Drying Cabinet) is designed for drying and storing endoscopes after disinfection and sterilisation.

The cabinet is supplied with dry purified medical air. It circulates in it under pressure, cleaning all endoscope channels.

The cabinet is designed for 1-7 Olympus endoscopes. If additional adapters are available, the cabinet can also accommodate endoscopes from other manufacturers.

Storage of endoscopes in a special cabinet has the following advantages:
 - cross-contamination with microorganisms is eliminated;
 - no need to rinse the endoscope channels with alcohol before use;
 - there is no need to treat endoscopes additionally before the first use at the beginning of the day;
 - equipment lasts longer because it is stored under optimal conditions.
